We believe that there are few other places in Stockholm that host as many exciting meetings as Stockholm City Hall. And this building is home to Stadshuskällaren. Royalty and politicians from all over the world come here. Both Nobel Prize winners and loyal employees who have just received their gold watch dine here. We provide all the food and drink, no matter where in the City Hall you meet for a party. In Stadshuskällaren we welcome all types of parties. If you want your own dining room, we have Linnaeus dining room where you can sit up to 100 guests. We adapt the menu and drinks to your wishes, or you can choose our banquet menu, which always offers seasonal flavors and ingredients. Maybe you want to invite to a Nobel evening? Get Married at Stockholm City Hall and Celebrate with Us
Did you know you can have a civil ceremony at Stockholm City Hall?
The ceremony takes place in the beautiful Oval Room, overlooking the Prince’s Gallery. City Hall offers a stunning setting year-round, with its magnificent architecture, the classic colonnade, and of course – the Stockholm skyline with Söder Mälarstrand across the water.
If you wish to celebrate your love with us after your ceremony, simply cross the beautiful courtyard, Borgargården, and take the stairs down to Stadshuskällaren. We welcome everything from small, exclusive gatherings to full wedding dinners for up to 100 guests. Get in touch in advance, and we will help you plan the arrangement that suits you best. We would be honored to contribute to your special day with delicious food, a unique setting, and a warm atmosphere.
Even if your ceremony isn’t held at City Hall, you are warmly welcome to celebrate with us in our beautiful venues, suitable for both grand wedding parties and intimate dinners for smaller groups. Our kitchen creates unique culinary experiences tailored to your wishes. Our experienced service staff will handle all preparations and be there throughout your celebration, allowing you to focus entirely on each other.

Weren’t invited to the Nobel Banquet either?
The Nobel Banquet is one of the world’s most celebrated events. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to enjoy the legendary and storied Nobel menu?
Stadshuskällaren is the only restaurant in the world to offer every Nobel menu from 1901 onwards. With a complete Nobel menu served on the original dinnerware created by Karin Björquist and Gunnar Cyrén, it’s a truly unique experience. You’ll also be dining in the very building where the Nobel Banquet takes place each year on December 10.
Nobel Dinner 2025
You can enjoy the 2025 Nobel Dinner with us at Stadshuskällaren. The menu is created by Nobel chefs Tommy Myllymäki and Pi Le, together with Nobel pastry chef Frida Bäcke. It can be ordered for two guests or more.
The price for the menu is 2,895 SEK per person, including a complete beverage package (wine pairing, mineral water, coffee). The price with a non-alcoholic beverage package is 2,595 SEK per person. To ensure availability, we recommend booking at least 5 days in advance.
Nobel Menus 1901–2024
We prepare Nobel menus from the years 1901 to 2024 for groups of more than 10 guests.
As these menus require special planning and may include rare ingredients, we require at least one week’s advance booking.
